Treasure Hunt & Quiz
The club Treasure Hunt and Quiz took place on Sunday 19th Feb and attracted a very good entry of 19 cars. We met at the White Rose Tea Room near Cabo Roig and the route took us via La Fuente, Eagle`s Nest, San Miguel, Rebate and Pilar to a coffe break at Salt & Pepper on the N332. Onward then via San Pedro, San Javier, Santiago de la Ribera and Lo Pagan before returning to the lunch and prizegiving at Los Cucalos near Villamartin. The Treasure Hunt was won by Ian and Carol Smith with a score of 38/40 closely followed by Roger Drew and Anne-Marie Tasney on 37 points with Colin and Ann Edghill third on 36. The quiz was purely for fun and asked the crews to name a make or model of car beginning with each letter of the alphabet and this provided some weird and wonderful answers. As this years winner, Ian is now obliged to run the next treasure hunt and we all look forward to that
