Lunch was held at Silverstone 2023 in Montebello. The venue provided a private “party room” with the potential to house perhaps 80 diners. Only 20 of the 59 members graced the venue. The menu was quite extensive with half a dozen options for all of the three courses, and the quality was very good. A nice touch was that everyone was offered atleast two glasses of wine during the first and second courses. The service was excellent, the food fabulous [I wish that I had photographed every dish; Ange said that the prawn cocktail was the best she had ever had and the carrot cake was lovely, I fully enjoyed the pate the salad´s vinaigrette was lovely as was the home made christmas pud, if anything the main courses were perhaps too large!] no complaints from any of the diners.
